FRIENDS ONLY It has finally occured to me that the thought of complete strangers (or, even worse, family!) reading this journal somewhat frightens me.
But if you ( read ) & comment I'll consider you. Also, they say I'm an extrovert (which I'm not) so I'll most likely add you back. Unless you're, like, my brother or something.

Attendo, attendo né a me giungon mai!
I'm going traviata on the world. The waiting is killing me. (Ach, ich fü-üüühl's!) All I've been doing all day is lie on my bed, watching the beautiful spring wheather outside, listening to Anna Moffo - Où va la jeune hindoue, fille des parias, quand la lune se joue dans les grands mimosas? Dreading tomorrow. Also, eagerly looking forward to it. I am scared witless.
Speaking of La traviata. 3x Maria Callas 3x Anna Moffo 3x Anna Netrebko

I was so proud of myself for finishing the little Chinatown essay. Now I haven't written anything about The Third Man yet. Am no longer proud of myself.

| The Dezember's OST yey! |
[13 Mar 2006|09:39pm] |
Just when I could have been working on an essay on Faust and Gretchen, or typed up something for my twelfth grade project or done this or done that, little Vivien Dezember came up to me and poked me in the eye.
So I spent the valuable spare hours before rehearsals assembling my notoriously useless Dezember Mix plus CD-cover:

( And the playlist runs )
(To those who don't know, The Dezembers are my imaginary friends and rivals. Figments of my imagination. They've been there since I was fourteen and I started working on stories about them last summer, then a began a novel in November. Long story. But they are such brats.)

Now that I think about it a raw-ther boring icon-post. But it's got Anna Karina. And Il Gattopardo. And one tiny icon from Picnic at Hanging Rock. And last but not least some Netrebko and some Villazón for Melanie and me, us hopeless fangirls.
.
( je vais très bien, merci, je vous en pris. )

| icons update! |

[mood | creative]
The past free hours - generously given in order I work on my 12th grade project - were spent making icons and mostly drooling over that über-beautiful Anna Netrebko, because for some reason La Traviata seems to be my great and wonderful obsession these days.
The icons: 7 - La Traviata 3 - Rear Window 2 - Fellini's 8 1/2
( The most recent icons. )
